The Lonely Guitarist

The Lonely Guitarist: learning to develop solo arrangements

Have you ever wished you could play more of the music?

So many adult students spend all their time playing alone, and if you're not a singer you might start finding you need more to dig into than cowboy chords and strumming.

This class is an introduction to solo playing: how to learn to play a melody with enough background to make the music feel more complete. The tunes themselves will be simple and familiar, and we'll look at just enough practical theory to show how the arranging process works even if you can't figure it out yourself.

****

Six Saturdays on Zoom starting May 10, from 9-10 AM Central Time (CDT/US, UTC-6).

All classes are recorded and posted for review or download, and access to the videos, tabs/sheet music, and supporting resources will remain open after the series ends.

Login link will be emailed upon registration!
