Are you looking for guidance on:

  • what and how to practice?

  • how to make chord transitions smoother?

  • how to learn and remember songs?

  • how to play melodic leads instead of licks and scales?

  • practically applying music theory?

  • balancing satisfaction and struggle?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, I can help. Email me to set up a consultation and find the best solutions for you.

Private lessons are 30 or 60 minutes.
In-person sessions are held at my Nashville studio. Online sessions are held over Zoom.

Personalized teaching that fits you: lessons built around your goals, skill level, and musical tastes.

My goal as a teacher is to help you play with more ease and confidence, no matter what you play. My students are professional performers and songwriters, casual hobbyists, weekend warriors, perpetual beginners, and just regular folks that want to learn guitar.

More than traditional guitar lessons, my approach trains you to think like a musician. In the process, you’ll learn to identify and solve problems, how to practice more effectively, and most of all, how to get out of your own way and enjoy playing music.
